Britain Roger Rapoport is the author or co-author of 17 books. He will be discussing
Michael Moore\'s new film Sicko, which premiered at Cannes in May.

Rapoport has written about the automobile industry for the Wall Street Journal,
worked on an automotive assembly line for Ford and published a Mother Jones cover
piece on the FBI undercover agent who burned down the Watts Writers Workshop. He has
also written about nuclear weapons for the Los Angeles Times, for-profit hospitals
in Harper's Magazine, automobile salesmen in the Atlantic Monthly and the Calfiornia
earthquake threat in Esquire. Like Michael Moore he grew up in Michigan, worked as
an investigative reporter and newspaper editor, covered the auto industry. and
recently moved back to Michigan, the same state where Moore now lives.
